Treasurer Adam Layne, the Office of Financial Empowerment’s College Kids Celebrates the holiday with Deck the Halls
An Evening of Festive Fun and Community Spirit to Brighten the Season
St. Louis, MO, December 2024 – The St. Louis Treasurer’s Office and College Kids are thrilled to announce its annual “Deck the Halls” holiday celebration, bringing the community together for a joyous evening filled with festive cheer, music, and giving. This highly anticipated event will take place on Friday, December 20, 2024, from 4- 6 p.m. at the City Hall Rotunda promising a memorable experience for all who attend.
“Deck the Halls” is a cornerstone of the St. Louis holiday season, designed to spread joy and celebrate the city’s vibrant community spirit. The event will feature:
- Live Holiday Music: Performances by local choirs and musicians, bringing traditional and contemporary holiday classics to life and a holiday DJ.
- Tree Lighting Ceremony: A spectacular lighting of the community tree, symbolizing unity and hope for the coming year.
- Family-Friendly Activities: Including arts and crafts, face painting, and photo opportunities with Santa Claus.
- Food & Refreshments: A selection of holiday treats and beverages available for all attendees.
- Giving Back: A special charity drive will be held during the event, encouraging attendees to donate toys, non-perishable food items, or warm clothing to support local families in need.
“The holiday season is a time for reflection, gratitude, and connection,” said St. Louis Treasurer Adam L. Layne. “With ‘Deck the Halls,’ we aim to create a space where families and individuals from all walks of life can come together to celebrate and uplift one another. This year’s celebration will also spotlight the ongoing initiatives of the St. Louis Treasurer’s Office to support the community, including College Kids.
